Ned Nwoko Advises Gov Oborevwori to Leave Old PDP Habits Behind After Defecting to APC.

Senator Ned Nwoko has congratulated Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State on his defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

However, Nwoko has also advised Oborevwori to leave behind the old habits and politics that characterized the PDP in Delta State.

According to Nwoko, Oborevwori’s move to the APC should be transformative, and he should lead the charge for constitutional reforms, including the creation of Anioma and New Delta states.

Nwoko emphasized that the APC is committed to correcting historical imbalances and ending regional marginalization.

He urged Oborevwori to demonstrate renewed dedication to fairness, inclusive development, and progressive governance, and to empower neglected communities in the state.

Nwoko also highlighted the benefits of the proposed new states, stating that the creation of Anioma state will give voice, identity, and institutional power to the aspirations of Delta North, while the proposed New Delta will address deep internal asymmetries within the current state structure and unlock new paths for economic growth.

By joining the APC, Nwoko believes Oborevwori has an opportunity to make a meaningful impact and leave a lasting legacy in Delta State.
