Nicki Minaj Challenges Dez Bryant to $10M Fight in Heated Feud
Rapper Nicki Minaj and former NFL star Dez Bryant are locked in a bitter online clash that has escalated into personal attacks, past controversies, and a bold $10 million fight challenge.
The feud began amid a separate dispute involving Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons and team owner Jerry Jones. Jones claimed that Dez Bryant and Roc Nation founder Jay-Z had backed out of a prior contract deal a claim both parties swiftly denied. In response, Bryant warned Jones to “back off,” threatening to reveal more details.
Nicki Minaj, though not directly involved in the NFL matter, joined the fray due to her ongoing issues with Roc Nation. She tweeted at Bryant, “How about we play a game? Every time you do a ‘Jerry Jones’ or ‘NFL’ story time, I’ll do a ‘story time’ of my own.”
Bryant responded with a meme captioned, “I want to play a game.” Minaj then escalated the situation, threatening to expose Roc Nation, Jay-Z, and Desiree Perez, calling her “allegedly racist.”
While Bryant initially tried to dial things down and admitted he was a fan of Minaj, the rapper pressed on, bringing up Bryant’s 2012 arrest over an alleged assault involving his mother a case Bryant has long maintained was misunderstood.
In retaliation, Bryant brought up Minaj’s husband, Kenneth Petty, a registered sex offender, saying, “I don’t get how you can even be on the internet with your husband being a sex offender… so come on.”
Minaj fired back, challenging Bryant to a $10 million fight and even dragging his father into the conflict with fresh accusations. Bryant replied, “I’ll take your money and beat your husband up in front of you.”
Minaj has remained silent since the exchange.
