Nigeria Governors Forum Urges Security Agencies to Tackle Insecurity Head-On.

The Nigeria Governors Forum (NGF) has called on security agencies to directly confront the country’s worsening security challenges, including banditry, kidnappings, and property destruction.

The NGF has established a subcommittee to work with security agency heads to find solutions.

The governors also supported the Chief of Defence Staff’s innovative security initiative, which aims to enhance threat detection and response.

Some governors, like Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani, emphasized the need for state police to address insecurity at the sub-national level.
