Nigerian Lady Alarms Social Media After Police Jump Electric Fence and Raid Her Compound

A woman has recounted a terrifying experience after police officers allegedly jumped over a barbed-wire fence and forcefully entered her compound during an early morning raid.

The incident reportedly left residents in shock as officers moved from apartment to apartment searching for suspects.

According to the resident, the police arrived heavily armed in large numbers, claiming they were acting on intelligence that some occupants were involved in internet fraud and drug activities.

Doors were broken, windows smashed, and personal belongings including mobile phones and a tenant’s vehicle were reportedly seized during the operation.

“I was sleeping early in the morning when I heard loud banging on my door,” she said. “They pushed the barbed wire aside, scaled the fence, broke my neighbor’s door, and even shattered a window. I was so shaken that I temporarily left home.”

The woman also questioned the legality and methods of the operation, highlighting the emotional toll it took on her and her neighbors.

Police raids targeting cybercrime have reportedly increased across Nigerian cities, with residents frequently raising concerns over excessive force, unlawful entry, and property damage.

The shocking footage of the raid has gone viral online, sparking widespread debate about the conduct of security operatives during such operations.
