Nigerian Lawyer Calls Out Ned Nwoko Over Regina Daniels’ Family Dispute

A Nigerian lawyer, Nwa Okpoko, has publicly shared his opinion after watching viral clips released by billionaire politician Ned Nwoko. The videos accused Regina Daniels’ brother, Sammy, of harassing Nwoko’s children and domestic staff.

Okpoko, writing on Facebook, concluded that Nwoko is at fault for failing to set boundaries from the start. He urged Nwoko to release Sammy, who remains in detention following his arrest on November 3, 2025, in Lagos.

Sammy was later transferred to Abuja and arraigned in court on November 6, 2025, where he was remanded pending fulfillment of bail conditions.

“After watching Ned’s videos and reading his write-up, I have come to the conclusion that it is his fault. He clearly didn’t set enough boundaries from the get-go. Let him release that poor boy, abeg,” Okpoko wrote.

Adding context to the ongoing dispute, an old video of Regina Daniels’ mother, Rita Daniels, has resurfaced, confirming that Regina was nearly 20 years old at the time of her marriage to Ned Nwoko, contradicting previous claims that she was 17.

The legal expert’s observations highlight the growing public scrutiny surrounding the high-profile family dispute, with calls for accountability and justice continuing to mount.
