Nigerian Man Goes Viral After Politely Declining Lady’s Public Proposal on X

A Nigerian man has sparked widespread reactions on X (formerly Twitter) after respectfully turning down a lady’s public proposal to him on the platform.

The lady, identified by the handle @4Lasade, had publicly expressed her admiration for the man, describing him as “a man of value” and asking if he would be open to further conversation.

In response, the man, who goes by @Intern_gbogbo_H, praised her courage and acknowledged their previous interactions on the timeline. However, he explained that he was unable to pursue any further discussions around the matter at the moment, apologising politely.

His reply read in part:
“I appreciate your courage for speaking up… However, I may not be able to have further conversations around this at the moment. I am sorry.”

The exchange, which has now generated more than 150,000 views, quickly became a talking point on X, attracting mixed reactions from users.
