Nigerian Music Stars Shine in 2025 NAACP Awards Nominations

Nigerian music sensations Wizkid, Burna Boy, and Tems have earned prestigious nominations for the 2025 NAACP Awards.

The ceremony, scheduled for February 22, will take place at the Pasadena Civic Centre in California.

Wizkid received two nominations for his song “Piece of My Heart” featuring Brent Faiyaz, in the categories of *Outstanding Duo or Collaboration* and *Outstanding International Song*.

Burna Boy and Usher were nominated for *Best Collaboration* for their song “Coming Home”. Tems’ “Love Me JeJe” secured a nomination for *Outstanding International Song* .

Other notable Nigerian nominees include Actress Ayo Edebiri, who received five nominations, and South African singer Tyla, who is up for *Outstanding New Artist*.

The 56th edition of the NAACP Awards promises to celebrate outstanding achievements in music, film, and television.
