Nigerian Singer Ayra Starr Relocates to New York City

Nigerian singer Oyinkansola Aderibigbe, popularly known as Ayra Starr, has confirmed that she has officially relocated to New York City, United States.

In an appearance on Hot 93.7FM’s Buck N Regg Show, the 23-year-old singer spoke about the move and how it is shaping the next phase of her career.

“I do live in New York. I moved in officially less than two months ago. I am always in New York regardless,” Ayra Starr said.

She admitted that she initially had doubts about relocating, but a pivotal moment on stage convinced her that New York was the right choice.

The singer described the city as reminiscent of Lagos, with a strong Nigerian presence and a vibrant African diaspora.
