Nigerian Super Falcons Celebrate WAFCON Victory with National Receptions and Praise
The Nigerian Super Falcons, champions of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) returned home to a hero’s welcome sparking nationwide celebrations and bolstering national pride.

Upon arrival at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, the Super Falcons were greeted by government officials, football administrators and enthusiastic fans waving the Nigerian flag.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu publicly congratulated the team, commending their dedication, skill and resilience.
