“NISGS Celebrates Comr. Fiyinfoluwa with Leadership Excellence Award”

The alumni of the Surveying and Geoinformatics department at Ibadan Polytechnic have awarded Comrade Tegbe Fiyinfoluwa Stephen for his impactful leadership.

Comrade Fiyinfoluwa, an alumnus of Ibadan Polytechnic, received the award from his department on Friday during the Nigerian Institutions of Surveying and Geoinformatics Students (NISGS) departmental day, due to his outstanding leadership.

In an exclusive online interview, the awardee stated that he was deeply humbled and grateful to receive this award from his department.

He stated that such is a morale booster and a call for more, as it will spur him to increase his patriotic activities for the school and humanity.

According to him, “It is an incredible honor to be recognized for my efforts, and I am thrilled that my contributions have made a positive impact in the university and Ibadan at large.”

“This award serves as a motivation for me to continue giving back to this community and humanity at large. It is the school that gave me enormous support, encouraged, and trained me to become who I am today.”

He advised students to imbibe the spirit of hard work as well as total commitment to academics and God, as that will guide their path to success.

“I would advise you to stay focused, work hard, and be committed to your goals. Don’t be afraid to take risks, explore opportunities, and seek mentorship. Building strong relationships with God, your lecturers, peers, and alumni can also open doors to new experiences and opportunities. Most importantly, be passionate about your field of study and strive to make a positive impact in your community.”
