Nkanu Youths Applaud Hon. Anthony Okechukwu Mbah’s Impactful Leadership in Constituency Development

……. As Hon. Mbah Urges Support for Governor’s Ongoing Transformation of Enugu State

The Nkanu Youth Organisation (NYO) in Nkanu East Local Government Area of Enugu State has praised the leadership qualities of Hon. Anthony Okechukwu Mbah, the representative for their constituency in the Enugu State House of Assembly.

The commendation was given during a recent courtesy visit by the group to the lawmaker’s office at the Enugu State House of Assembly complex in Independence Layout, Enugu.

During the visit, the president of the organization, Hon. Prince Mmaduabuchi Ogbu, explained that they came to appreciate Hon. Mbah’s dedication to the development of their constituency and to discuss issues affecting the people of Nkanu East, particularly the youth.

“We are truly impressed with what he has done and continues to do to improve lives in our people , despite not being in an executive position. It shows we made the right choice in electing him,” he noted.

It should be recalled that since assuming office, the lawmaker has registered over 100 constituents for WAEC, about 300 for JAMB, and has provided bursaries, jobs, and support for qualified individuals seeking admission to tertiary institutions within the state and beyond.

The Nkanu Youth Organisation also commended Hon. Mbah for his motion to ban reckless “signing out” celebrations in tertiary institutions across Enugu State, an act he stated has caused more harm than good. They reminded him that as WAEC registration and the resumption of the new academic session are around the corner, they hope he will continue his efforts to assist economically disadvantaged youths from Nkanu East who are in tertiary institutions.

In response, Hon. Mbah expressed his pleasure at the group’s organization and leadership. He affirmed that his mission in the Enugu State House of Assembly is to create positive change in the lives of his constituents.

“The unity and determination I see in the youths of Nkanu East are inspiring. As your advocate, I am committed to pushing for advancements that will benefit all of us,” he said.

He also praised the exceptional leadership of Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, noting the transformation underway in Enugu, which he likened to a “construction site.” He encouraged the group to actively share the Governor’s achievements with a wider audience, adding, “The Governor has brought Enugu’s future to us now.”
