“No Keke Driver Head Correct” – Comedian Sabinus Calls Out Reckless Tricyclists, Urges Government Action

Popular Nigerian comedian and skit maker, Sabinus, has taken to social media to express his frustration over what he describes as the erratic and reckless behavior of commercial tricycle drivers, commonly known as Keke Napep operators.

In a passionate rant shared on his official social media handle, Sabinus recounted his recent experience with a Keke driver and criticized the general attitude of many tricyclists on Nigerian roads. According to him, their driving habits are not only dangerous but reflect a complete disregard for road safety and public order.

The comic star humorously suggested that becoming a Keke driver somehow causes individuals to lose their common sense. He said it appears as though the companies selling the vehicles ask drivers to leave their reasoning behind in exchange for the tricycle.

“Omo, nothing wey person wan tell me. Once you buy Keke for this Nigeria say you wan be Keke driver, e be like say the company wey sell the Keke to you dey tell you say ‘drop your sense with us, collect the Keke dey go,’ because no Keke driver head correct,” he said.

Continuing in his lamentation, he added, “Buy Keke and drop your sense. God abeg. Government, talk to these people o. Jesus is Lord! Keke cannot be patient for a second. Everything we dey avoid for road, na Keke we dey avoid pass.”

Sabinus concluded his post with a plea to the government, urging them to regulate the activities of Keke drivers to ensure public safety.

His comments have since gone viral, sparking widespread engagement from netizens who shared similar grievances about the often chaotic behaviour of Keke riders in urban areas.
