Nollywood’s Sarah Sweet: “I’d Rather Be Single Than Tolerate Disrespect”

Nollywood actress Sarah Oghenekaro Akatugba, popularly known as Sarah Sweet, has opened up about her decision to remain single, saying she’s simply tired of men’s deceit and lack of responsibility.

In a candid chat shared online, the actress and chef made it clear that her single status isn’t due to a lack of suitors but a personal choice for peace and self-respect.

“It’s not that men aren’t asking me out,” she said. “I’m just tired of deceit, disrespect, and irresponsibility. Many people don’t even understand what friendship or loyalty really means.”

Sarah, who prides herself on being deeply loyal and supportive, explained that trust and honesty are non-negotiable for her in any relationship romantic or otherwise.

“If I call you a friend, I’m a hundred and ten percent for you,” she added. “I don’t backbite, I don’t envy. I just expect the same energy in return.”

Nicknamed the Queen of 110 Percent, Sarah said she brings extra effort and passion into everything she does including her personal life. She noted that anyone hoping to be her husband “has to come correct.”
