Okowa Hits Back at Saraki Over Defection Remarks.

Former PDP presidential running mate Ifeanyi Okowa has criticized former Senate President Bukola Saraki for commenting on his defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Okowa faulted Saraki’s remarks, pointing out that the former Senate President had also defected to APC before returning to PDP, and therefore lacks the moral right to speak about his defection.

In an interview on Arise Television, Okowa said those doubting his political reach should wait until the next election in 2027. Okowa had defected from PDP to APC last week and was officially received into the party.
