Online War Erupts as Prof. Mgbeke Drags Senator Natasha

The political feud between Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan of Kogi Central and Senate President Godswill Akpabio has taken another dramatic turn, as Professor Sandra Duru, popularly known as Prof. Mgbeke, openly declared herself a “terror” and “nightmare” to the senator.

In a strongly worded post shared on her official X (formerly Twitter) handle, Prof. Mgbeke accused Senator Natasha of attempting to undermine Senate President Akpabio but failing in her mission. She claimed Natasha had been contracted by powerful interests to destabilize the Senate, but the plan collapsed.

“She will never again be granted the stage to parade her madness in the Senate. She is free to join Peter Obi as his running mate because the contract with her sponsors was terminated by me on 1st May 2025. She failed to destroy the ‘Yoruba Government,’” Mgbeke wrote.

Continuing her attack, she further mocked Natasha, alleging that she had been abandoned by international backers. “Natasha, know this, I am your terror. I am your nightmare. At least you admitted it yesterday when fear stopped you from saying my name aloud. Your miscreants chorused the name that haunts your sleep — Professor Sandra Duru, Prof. Mgbeke.”

Her post immediately set off heated debates across social media, with Nigerians sharply divided. While some criticized Prof. Mgbeke for her harsh words, others supported her stance, saying Natasha had long been embroiled in controversies.
