Osun LG Crisis: Gov. Adeleke Initiates Statewide Stakeholder Consultations After Meeting with Bisi Akande.

Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has commenced a dialogue with stakeholders concerning the ongoing local government leadership disputes in the state.

This initiative was announced following his meeting with Chief Bisi Akande, a former governor and APC chairman, in Ibadan.

The governor plans to meet with traditional leaders to address these issues and emphasized the importance of respecting the rule of law while urging all parties involved to return to court to resolve the matter peacefully.

In response, Chief Akande stressed the necessity of peace and adherence to legal processes.

However, the Osun APC criticized the governor for seeking interventions rather than addressing the root of the crisis, particularly in light of recent violence attributed to political tensions.
