Pastor Jimmy Odukoya, the Senior Pastor of the Fountain of Life Church, has shared a remarkable story about why he kept his dreadlocks.

He claims that God instructed him not to cut his hair to save a life. Before resuming his pastoral duties after his father’s passing, Odukoya sought divine clarity on his appearance and was told by God to keep his hair.

To confirm this message, Odukoya asked his sister to pray about it, and she received the same instruction from God. Recently, a Zimbabwean woman traveled to Nigeria to attend his service and shared an extraordinary story.

She had a vision in 2016 while in New York, where she saw Odukoya preaching with long hair and giving her specific instructions.

The woman explained that after the vision, she went through a difficult breakup, lost everything in a divorce, and watched her mother die in her arms.

Seeking solace, she turned to YouTube to listen to sermons and stumbled upon Odukoya’s preaching. When she saw him, she was shocked because he matched the man from her vision, and she had not known that a pastor could have long hair.

What struck Odukoya most was that he did not have long hair when the woman had the vision. He believes that God kept him from cutting his hair to fulfill this vision and help the woman, ultimately saving a life.
