Portable Highlights Burna Boy’s Support, Slams Davido’s Generosity

Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has once again thrown shade at Afrobeats superstar Davido, claiming that fellow artist Burna Boy gave him ₦20 million effortlessly.

During a recent Instagram live session, Portable praised Burna Boy for extending help even though they have never met in person.

He described the gesture as genuine and contrasted it with Davido, suggesting that the DMW boss often portrays generosity but fails to assist upcoming artists in reality.

Portable also criticized those who rely on inherited wealth, stressing that true success comes from personal achievement and the ability to stand independently.

This latest statement adds to the ongoing tension between Portable and Davido, which began after Portable accused Davido of unfollowing him on social media following their meeting in the United States earlier this year. Since then, Portable has frequently taken both subtle and direct jabs at the “Unavailable” crooner online.
