Portable Remanded in Prison Over Defamation Charges.

Nigerian singer Portable has been remanded at the Oke Kura Correctional Centre in Ilorin, Kwara State, for failing to meet the bail conditions set by an Upper Area Court.

Portable is facing charges of defamation of character levelled against him by legendary Fuji musician Akorede Saheed, aka Saheed Osupa.

The court asked Portable to post bail of ₦1 million with two sureties, one of whom must be a high-ranking member of the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria, and the other a property owner in a Government Reserved Area in Ilorin with a valid Certificate of Occupancy.
