Portable Turns Down ₦1 Million from Blord, Demands Car or ₦1 Billion Instead

Nigerian singer Portable has made headlines after rejecting a ₦1 million gift from crypto entrepreneur Blord, insisting that he deserves a bigger reward.

In a viral video, Portable thanked Blord for promoting his song dedicated to social critic VeryDarkMan but urged, “Blord, God bless you for promoting my song, but give me car. I’m more than ₦1 million. Give me car and you’ll be more famous. I support you.”

Blord had promised ₦1 million to Portable for his musical shout-out, but the singer dismissed the offer as too small, demanding either a car or ₦1 billion instead.

The video, which quickly circulated on X and Instagram, showed Portable making his request dramatically while mixing humor with his plea.

Fans had mixed reactions online. Some mocked his demands, calling him greedy, while others joked about the audacity of asking for more before receiving the money.

Despite the criticism, Portable’s antics have kept him trending, reinforcing his reputation for turning controversies into viral moments.
