Presidency Compares President Tinubu’s Leadership to Abraham Lincoln’s
Daniel Bwala, Special Adviser on Policy Communication to President Bola Tinubu, has drawn a striking comparison between President Tinubu and former U.S. President Abraham Lincoln, highlighting eight leadership qualities that set Tinubu apart.
In a post on his X (formerly Twitter) account on Monday, Bwala praised Tinubu’s courage, discipline, strong will, open-mindedness, forgiveness, faith in people, selflessness, and collaborative spirit.
Bwala emphasized that Tinubu’s courage empowers him to take bold steps to reform systems, while his discipline demands excellence that he exemplifies personally. According to the adviser, Tinubu’s unwavering will ensures he stays committed to doing what is right despite opposition.
He further noted that the president is receptive to new ideas, quick to forgive, instills confidence in those assigned responsibilities, uplifts others to succeed, and fosters collaboration across divides — traits reminiscent of Lincoln’s leadership style.
Bwala asserted these qualities surpass those of Tinubu’s political opponents, affirming that the president remains unfazed by any attempts or conspiracies aimed at unseating him in the 2027 elections.
