Presidency Emphasizes Unity in Politics Amid Tinubu and Atiku’s Meeting”

In response to President Bola Tinubu’s recent meeting with his former rival, Atiku Abubakar, Tunde Rahman, a Senior Special Assistant to the President, stated that politics should be characterized by unity rather than bitterness.

The encounter took place at the National Mosque during a Jumat service, where Tinubu was joined by prominent figures including the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullah Ganduje, and the Chairman of the PDP Governors Forum, Mohammed Bala. Other attendees included Senator Ali Ndume from Borno South and former APC National Chairman, Ali Modu Sheriff.

Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu’s spokesperson, shared news of the meeting, underscoring the cordial nature between the long-time political adversaries. Rahman echoed this sentiment on social media, advocating for a political landscape untainted by animosity.
