Primate Elijah Ayodele Predicts APC Could Lose Kwara in 2027 Without Urgent Action
Primate Elijah Ayodele, the spiritual leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has stirred fresh debate after warning that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) may lose control of Kwara State ahead of the 2027 elections.
In a statement that surfaced on social media, Ayodele reportedly declared:
“APC will no longer win Kwara State; they need to do a lot of work there.”
The prophecy has generated mixed reactions, particularly as Ayodele is known for his political forecasts that frequently spark conversations during election cycles. In previous years, he issued warnings to APC regarding Lagos and other states, cautioning the party against taking voter loyalty for granted.
According to him, APC risks losing its grip on Kwara unless immediate corrective measures are taken. Supporters of his prophecy claim it reflects growing discontent among citizens, while critics argue that the cleric thrives on dramatic predictions.
Kwara politics has long been unpredictable. From the fall of the Saraki dynasty in 2019 to APC’s sweeping victories in recent polls, the state has witnessed sudden shifts in political influence.
Ayodele’s latest warning has now revived questions about whether APC can retain its dominance in Kwara or face an unexpected upset in 2027.
