Prince Ekene Nwanjoku commends Governor Mbah’s Remarkable First 100 Days in Office
Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah of Enugu State has received commendations for his outstanding performance in the state during his first 100 days in office as the Executive Governor of Enugu State.
Recall that on May 29, 2023, during his swearing-in ceremony, he assured ndị Enugu of a disruptive governance that would bring rapid economic growth and development to the state.
In a congratulatory message signed by one of his foremost supporters and a Prince of Ndumeze Kingdom, Hon. Prince Ekenedilichukwu Nwanjoku, it was stated that Governor Peter Mbah’s use of two instructive anecdotes to evoke the future that lies ahead of ndi Enugu through the use of Emeka and Ikenna narratives has been well-received.
Prince Ekenedilichukwu Nwanjoku also listed numerous programs and remarkable achievements recorded under Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, which include the provision of vehicles to security agencies, the revamping of Enugu’s water projects, the rejuvenation of Eswama, and the organization of an international investment and economic growth roundtable, among others.
He assured Peter Mbah of massive support while also encouraging him to work for the growth of the state.
According to Prince Nwanjoku, “A big congratulations to you, Your Excellency, on your successful and amazing 100 days in office. Your Excellency Sir, in your inaugural speech on May 29, 2023, I do recall that you made two instructive anecdotes to evoke the future that lies ahead of Ndi Enugu. They were narratives of ‘Emeka and Ikechukwu.’
Today, as you mark your 100-day anniversary of being in office as the Executive Governor of Enugu State, a hopeless Emeka may not have totally transformed into an Ikechukwu, but the groundwork for the growth of an Ikechukwu has begun in earnest.
This is evident in your people-oriented programs and policies that you have implemented and others that are yet to be unveiled.
You have gallantly addressed the issue of insecurity in Enugu State and have eliminated the unlawful Monday Sit-at-Home order in the State, allowing Ndị Enugu to go about their lawful activities on Mondays. This is in addition to the recent launch of the Distress Response Squad (DRS) in the State and the procurement of a number of vehicles to enhance their effectiveness and mobility.
It is on record, Your Excellency, that you have addressed the issue of waste disposal and management in the State, with a revitalization of the Waste Management Agency, ESWAMA. Your administration has also cleared up all major collections of uncleared refuse littering some parts of Enugu metropolis, Nsukka, and other towns in the State, and has deployed specialized refuse compactor trucks to ensure efficient removal of municipal waste.
In your inaugural address, you promised Ndị Enugu that water would run in their homes within 180 days of your inauguration. Immediately upon assuming office, your administration commenced the production of over 25 million liters of water daily at 9th Mile, and you have promised to increase it to 70 million liters daily by the end of next month. Today, sir, this project is almost 100% ready.
Just last week, you successfully hosted an Enugu State Investment and Economic Growth Stakeholder Roundtable, which attracted investors from all over the world with the sole aim of attracting private capital into the state.
Your Excellency, as we look forward to your one year in office come May 29, 2024, I pray for more of God’s grace and wisdom for you, so you can steer the ship of the state to the shore.
Once again, congratulations!
Ndi-Enugu are very happy with you, sir!
