Racheal Adelaja Survives Near-Death Experience, Slams Colleagues for ‘Fake Love’
Nollywood actress Racheal Adelaja has taken to social media to share her harrowing near-death experience while publicly criticizing some of her colleagues for showing insincere concern during her health crisis.
In an emotional Instagram post, Adelaja revealed that she recently embarked on a life-threatening journey she feared she wouldn’t return from.
While expressing deep gratitude to God for preserving her life, she called out colleagues in the film industry who, despite knowing about her situation, neither reached out nor offered support.
“Mercy said no,” she wrote, adding that divine intervention gave her a second chance at life. She thanked those who stood by her during the ordeal but condemned others who, according to her, chose gossip over compassion.
Adelaja, a familiar face in Nollywood, has maintained a relatively low profile in recent months. Her sudden disappearance from social media sparked concern among fans, many of whom were unaware of her health struggles.
Now back online, she’s using her platform to shed light on what she describes as the hypocrisy within her industry.
“A few months ago, I embarked on a journey I wasn’t sure I’d return from… but Mercy said no,” Adelaja wrote. “God came through for me and gave me another chance at life. I’m deeply grateful.”
“To some of my Nollywood colleagues… you heard about what happened, yet not a single call or text. But you had the time to discuss me in different locations,” she added.
“If I had died, some of you would have posted the longest tributes online. But God didn’t make me a headline through death. He gave me life, and for that, I return all the glory to Him.”
