Realgina Onu Urges Investigation, Wants Ned Nwoko Out of Senate
Calls for billionaire politician and senator Ned Nwoko to step down from his senatorial post have gained traction amid his ongoing marital dispute with actress Regina Daniels.
The conflict intensified after Daniels accused Nwoko of having her brother, Sammy, unlawfully arrested.
Sammy was detained on November 6, 2025, in Lagos and is currently held in Abuja. In response, actress Realgina Onu called for Nwoko’s resignation in a recent Instagram post, citing the need for an independent investigation into allegations of sexual coercion, unlawful detention, and substance abuse.
“There must be accountability. Ned Nwoko should step down to allow unbiased scrutiny of these claims,” Onu stated.
She also urged intervention from the Nigerian Police Force, Ministry of Justice, and human rights organizations to ensure proper investigation.
Meanwhile, a resurfaced video of Regina Daniels’ mother, Rita Daniels, addressed claims about her age at marriage, revealing she was nearly 20 not 17 when she wed Nwoko.
Regina and Ned Nwoko married traditionally on April 25, 2020, in Delta State.
Adding to the controversy, Regina Daniels’ brother, Sweezzy, alleged that Ned Nwoko’s late son passed away in the UK due to heart failure and seizures linked to excessive drug use.
