Rep. Ogah Petitions INEC to Investigate Minister Nkiruka Onyejeocha Over Alleged Election Result Forgery.

A member of the House of Representatives, Amobi Ogah, has petitioned the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to investigate Minister of State for Labour and Productivity, Nkiruka Onyejeocha, over alleged forgery of polling unit results during the 2023 general elections.

In a letter dated April 14 and addressed to INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, Ogah accused Onyejeocha of presenting falsified election results at the Election Petition Tribunal in an attempt to overturn the outcome of the poll.

Ogah alleged that these documents were forged to cast doubt on the legitimacy of the election that returned him as the duly elected representative.
