Ribadu Warns Critics: “Underestimate President Tinubu at Your Own Risk”
National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, has cautioned political critics and opposition figures against underestimating President Bola Tinubu’s leadership capacity, describing him as a “digital President” with a clear vision for national transformation.
Speaking amid renewed political tension, Ribadu dismissed recent claims by the African Democratic Congress (ADC) that the federal government is allegedly fabricating a coup plot to suppress opposition voices ahead of the 2027 elections.
“We have quality leadership today in our country,” Ribadu said. “Mr. President is a digital President. People who underestimate him are doing so at their own peril.”
Ribadu further accused the opposition of representing Nigeria’s failed political past, emphasizing that the current administration is focused on governance, reform, and long-term national development.
The NSA’s remarks come at a time when political accusations and heated rhetoric are intensifying as the country gears up for the next general elections.
