Roma Director Engages in London Talks Regarding Jadon Sancho and Chelsea Youngster Tyrique George.
AS Roma director Frederic Massara has travelled to London for decisive talks over potential transfers involving Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho and Chelsea’s rising talent Tyrique George.
The Italian club appeared to have cooled their interest in Sancho last week, with concerns over his motivation stalling negotiations.
However, Roma coach Gian Piero Gasperini remains eager to bring the England international to Serie A, and Massara’s trip is viewed as a final push to convince him. Manchester United are also open to offloading Sancho, making this meeting a crucial step in determining his future.
Sancho has yet to commit, leaving Roma frustrated by his indecision. Massara’s face-to-face discussions are expected to provide clarity on whether the transfer can be revived.
At the same time, Roma are keeping close tabs on 19-year-old Tyrique George, a versatile forward highly regarded within Chelsea’s academy.
The England youth international, capable of playing across the attacking line, is being considered as an alternative option should the Sancho deal collapse.
With both players represented by the same agent, Roma are hoping to accelerate negotiations and strengthen their attacking options ahead of the new season.
