Fans were left in stitches after a video surfaced showing popular skit maker Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Ejekwu, better known as Sabinus, coming face-to-face with his lookalike at a recent event.

The Port Harcourt-born comedian was visibly stunned when he was introduced to the man, who not only shared his facial features but also arrived dressed in Sabinus’ trademark blue shirt and signature hairstyle.

In the viral clip, Sabinus shouted “Holy Ghost fire!” in disbelief as he sized up his double, who held a placard welcoming him to Sierra Leone. The pair shook hands warmly, with Sabinus joking that this version of him looked like he was “suffering.”

It was later revealed that the lookalike also dabbles in comedy, imitating Sabinus’ style and content to entertain fans.

Celebrity lookalikes are no longer unusual on social media, with similar doubles spotted for Nigerian stars like Davido and Wizkid. Many netizens couldn’t get over how striking the resemblance was, with some even calling them “twins.”
