Sancho’s Hesitation Sparks Frustration for Roma and Manchester United Over Transfer

Roma and Manchester United have reportedly reached an agreement over Jadon Sancho’s transfer, but the deal has hit a roadblock due to the player’s reluctance to compromise.

According to Sky Sport Italia, both clubs agreed on a €19m fee plus €5m in add-ons, with Manchester United keen to finalize the move rather than risk losing Sancho for free when his contract expires next summer.

Roma, on the other hand, are eager to complete their attacking reinforcements quickly, with Leon Bailey set for medicals tomorrow following his arrival from Aston Villa.

However, Sancho’s refusal to accept a pay cut remains the primary obstacle, as his current wages exceed Roma’s financial capacity. The winger has also shown little interest in alternatives such as Besiktas while reportedly holding out for a potential approach from Juventus.

The stalled negotiations have left both clubs frustrated as they seek to resolve Sancho’s future ahead of the new season.
