Sarah Martins Says She Doesn’t Attend Church or Pay Tithe, Reveals She Spends ₦1.5 Million Monthly Feeding the Poor

Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has stirred reactions online after revealing that she neither attends church nor pays tithe, explaining that she prefers to use her money to help the less privileged.

In a recent interview, the actress disclosed that she spends at least ₦1.5 million every month cooking and distributing food to people living on the streets an act she describes as her personal way of paying tithe.

According to her, she believes in “helping people directly rather than giving money to pastors or churches.” Sarah added that her commitment to charity has brought her countless blessings, proving that generosity and compassion can also be forms of worship.

“I don’t go to church. I don’t pay tithe. My own tithe is through charity,” she said. “Every month, I spend no less than ₦1.5 million cooking for people on the streets. That’s the least I spend monthly. God keeps blessing me through that.”

Sarah’s comment comes months after she was reportedly chased away while feeding the homeless in Lagos an incident that later attracted ₦20 million in donations from supporters who admired her philanthropic effort.

Her remarks have since sparked mixed reactions among Nigerians, with some praising her charitable heart while others questioned her rejection of church traditions.
