“She Made Me Clean Her Shoes – Diiadem Opens Up on Old Encounter with Biola Bayo”

Popular Nigerian entrepreneur and beauty mogul, Diiadem, has stirred conversations online after recounting a hurtful encounter she allegedly had with actress Biola Bayo many years ago on a movie set.

The revelation began after Biola Bayo made a social media post lamenting the rising cost of Aso Ebi for weddings. Diiadem, reacting under the post, shared a personal experience that quickly went viral.

According to her, the incident happened around 2009 or 2010 when she accompanied her stepmother to a film location. Though she was not part of the cast, Biola Bayo, whom she knew then as Abisola Eyin Oka, allegedly asked her to clean her shoes.

“I remember how this lady made me clean her shoes one time. I followed my stepmum to a movie set those days. I wasn’t even an actress, but she made me do it,” Diiadem wrote.

The founder of Beauty by AD said the experience left her embarrassed and disheartened but expressed relief that she could finally speak up without fear of judgment.

Reacting to the revelation, Biola Bayo playfully responded in Yoruba, saying: “Ema ma tun gba mi kee! Ewo tun ni shoe cleaner bayi?” which translates to “Help me oo, how did I get into a shoe cleaner conversation?”

The light-hearted comeback drew laughter from fans, though others reflected on the post as a reminder that behind the glamour of Nollywood are real stories of struggle and respect.
