“Some People Are Trying to Kill Me” – VeryDarkMan Reveals Threat on Arrival in Nigeria

Popular social media activist VeryDarkMan has disclosed a terrifying experience he faced upon returning to Nigeria from a trip to China.

During a live stream, he recounted how security operatives confronted him at the airport, seized his passport, and warned him that his life was in grave danger. Confused and alarmed, he repeatedly asked why, but received no explanation.

“The day I landed in this country, security operatives came and seized my passport. When they took it, I thought something had happened. I asked why they were seizing my passport, but they said nothing,” he said.

VeryDarkMan was then escorted into an office, expecting a formal interrogation. Instead, officials informed him that his life was under threat and advised him to seek protection from the police, the army, or the DSS. They explained that intercepted calls suggested assassins were being sent after him.

When asked who was behind the threat, the officials declined to provide names, indicating it involved a group rather than an individual. VeryDarkMan eventually got his passport back but refused any form of security.

“They asked again, ‘Who do you want to protect you during this period… The police, the army, or the DSS?’ I told them nobody. I will never use security. The day I go is the day I go. If I am gone today, I’m good,” he stated.

His revelation has sparked widespread reactions on social media, with users expressing concern for his safety. One user wrote, “VDM needs to be very careful. This story no be small thing.” Another added, “If security is warning him like this, the threat must be real.”

VeryDarkMan’s refusal to accept protection has further fueled debates online, leaving many hoping he remains safe in the coming days.
