South African President Orders Arrest of Radio Host After Viral Roadside Dance Stunt

South African President Cyril Ramaphosa has reportedly directed law enforcement authorities to arrest popular radio presenter Penny Ntuli and her friend following the circulation of a viral video showing them twerking dangerously close to speeding vehicles.

The controversial clip, which quickly gained traction on social media, captured Ntuli and her companion dancing provocatively along a busy road.

While some viewers dismissed it as playful entertainment, many condemned the act as reckless and hazardous to both the performers and motorists.

In an official statement, the Presidency expressed strong disapproval, stressing that such actions endanger lives and disrupt public safety.

“Freedom must be exercised responsibly. Putting lives at risk under the guise of entertainment is unacceptable. Law enforcement has been directed to take swift action,” the statement read.

Authorities have confirmed that investigations are ongoing, and those involved are expected to face legal consequences.

The incident has sparked a nationwide conversation about public safety, personal responsibility, and the limits of online entertainment stunts.
