South-East Youths Raise ₦200 Million for Tinubu’s 2027 Presidential Bid

A political support group, the South East Renewed Hope Agenda (SERHA), has pledged ₦200 million to support the re-election campaign of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Speaking at the inauguration of the Imo State chapter of the group in Owerri, the National Coordinator of SERHA, Belusochukwu Enwere, stated that the funds will go toward the purchase of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential nomination form and other campaign logistics.

Enwere emphasized the group’s commitment to mobilizing grassroots support for President Tinubu across the South-East, noting that Tinubu’s leadership has brought renewed attention to infrastructure, education, and inclusive governance in the region.

“Our mission is to ensure that President Tinubu returns for a second term in 2027. Today, we are presenting a ₦200 million cheque to demonstrate our unwavering support,” Enwere declared.

The Owerri event, which marked the conclusion of SERHA’s regional tour, also featured an empowerment program, where motorcycles, mini buses, sewing machines, hairdressing kits, and cash support were distributed to residents to promote economic self-reliance.

Enwere also lauded the efforts of notable figures from Imo State such as the late Chief Sam Mbakwe and Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, while commending Governor Hope Uzodinma for his achievements under the 3R Agenda.

He further revealed plans to launch a grassroots campaign across all 95 local government areas and 2,344 wards in the South-East beginning in August.

“This is the turn of Southern Nigeria to complete our eight years. The South-East will not relent in ensuring President Tinubu’s victory in 2027,” he added.

The inauguration ceremony attracted political stakeholders, community leaders, and supporters from across the region, reflecting growing momentum for President Tinubu’s re-election campaign in the South-East.
