Teen Influencer Zuza Biene Dies at 14 After Brave Cancer Fight
Tragedy struck the social media world as American influencer Zuza Biene passed away at the age of 14 after an 11-year battle with acute myeloid leukemia (AML).
According to the New York Post, Zuza Biene died on September 22, 2025.
Prior to her passing, Zuza courageously shared her fight with cancer on social media, earning widespread attention and inspiring many with her resilience.
She also used her platform to raise awareness about childhood cancer, frequently posting with hashtags like #ChildhoodCancerAwarenessMonth and #CancerSucks.
Diagnosed with AML at a very young age, Zuza underwent multiple treatments, including three bone marrow transplants, and faced five relapses during her fight.
Throughout her journey, she shared her experiences on platforms such as Instagram and TikTok, educating and encouraging her followers.
Zuza is survived by her parents, Ryan Biene, a physician assistant, and Dagmara Biene, a health specialist with a PhD in Integrative Medicine, as well as her brother, Fin Biene, who supported her throughout her illness.
Tragically, her mother, Dagmara, also lost her younger brother, Olaf Stieber, just days before Zuza’s passing.
