TikTok Creator Peller Trolled Online for Spelling ‘Economy’ as ‘Airconomi’ During Live Session
Popular TikTok content creator and livestreamer, Habeeb Hamzat, better known as Peller, is facing social media backlash after a clip from a recent live session with skit maker Carter Efe went viral.
During the lighthearted livestream, Carter Efe challenged Peller to spell the word “Economy.” Without hesitation, Peller responded with “Airconomi,” prompting laughter from those around him. Although he appeared unsure, some in the room playfully encouraged him, adding to the comic moment.
The blunder quickly spread online, drawing mixed reactions. While some fans chalked it up to “cruise,” others questioned how someone with such a large following and who recently advertised a ₦500,000 month cameraman role could make such a mistake.
Social media users flooded the comments:
“This one go worse pass Monday D7 oooh.”
“Na why Tinubu no de take us serious be this… the economy is a joke.”
“Person wey dey interview graduates.”
One commenter even suggested Peller hire a private tutor to “match Jarvis’ intelligence,” referencing another popular figure.
This isn’t Peller’s first time in the spotlight for controversial reasons. Just recently, his offer of a lucrative cameraman role drew criticism for attracting overqualified applicants, including Master’s degree holders.
Despite the backlash, his supporters argue it’s all part of the online persona and content style he’s built a blend of comedy, controversy, and viral moments.
