Ministerial Appointments :Enugu May Get Another Ministerial Slot from Tinubu.

President Bola Tinubu will today send a new batch of ministerial nominees to the Senate for screening.

According to a very reliable source in the Senate, the names would either come on Tuesday night or very early on Wednesday morning.

Sources close to the Aso rock Villa have it that, President Tinubu May Consider appointing another minister from Enugu State as the second from the zone.

It was also revealed that, he could make the appointment from Enugu North Senatorial District with Ex Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi and Sen Ayogu Ezeh highly in contention.

It was also gathered that Enugu State, being the heart of the South East Region is a special place of interest for our president ;as he wants to maximise his political growth in the region through the State.

Reports also have it that, with one remaining ministerial position across the Geo Political Zones; aside the statutory ones meant for each State, that Enugu is highly favoured to have 2 with Anambra benefiting immensely from the previous administration, Imo and Ebonyi State APC leaders, not interested to avoid leadership tussle in the near future while Abịa State is not considered; because the party isn’t doing bad in the State.

However, recall that the Senator Representing Enugu North Senatorial District, Barr Okey Ezea had on Tuesday, raised the issue of marginalisation of his Senatorial Zone in the ministerial appointments from Enugu State since 1999; an act he said, should be corrected for equity, fairness and Justice.
