Tinubu Needs More Time to Address Economic Challenges, Says Osun APC Chieftain
Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, has urged Nigerians to give President Bola Tinubu more time to tackle the country’s economic challenges. Oyintiloye acknowledged that Nigerians are facing tough times but emphasized that the president is working hard to fix the economy.
According to Oyintiloye, Tinubu inherited an economy in crisis, requiring systemic reforms and understanding from Nigerians. The president’s economic policies, though tough, aim to place Nigeria on the path to economic prosperity. Oyintiloye noted that these policies have started showing results, albeit minimal, and that the future may be less challenging.
The APC chieftain appealed to Nigerians to remember that the economic crisis was not created by Tinubu and that patience, prayers, and support are necessary for the president to succeed. He highlighted the president’s focus on economic reforms and diversification, particularly in agriculture, manufacturing, technology, marine, and blue economy.
Oyintiloye concluded that with a little patience, Nigeria will overcome its challenges and rise again. However, not everyone shares his optimism, as Buba Galadima, a chieftain of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), recently stated that Rabiu Kwankwaso would have been a better president than Tinubu.
