Tinubu Vows to Lift Africa Out of Poverty
President Bola Tinubu has reaffirmed his commitment to lifting Africa out of poverty and building resilient economies.
Speaking at the inauguration of President John Mahama in Accra, Ghana, Tinubu emphasized that African leaders are dedicated to achieving success at their own pace “We have nothing to prove to anyone except ourselves,” Tinubu stated.
“We have found the critical path to our success. We shall lift our nations out of poverty and build a resilient economy at our own pace.”
Tinubu’s speech highlighted the significance of Mahama’s inauguration, celebrating African democracy and the transition from one democratic government to another.
He praised Ghana for demonstrating its capability for democratic and productive endeavors.The President also acknowledged the importance of Nigeria and Ghana’s relationship, drawing inspiration from their founding leaders.
He expressed confidence in Mahama’s leadership, stating that the new government would work with Nigeria to strengthen their bond and achieve greater shared prosperity.
