Tinubu Will Win Over 32 States in 2027 Presidential Election – ADC Member Leke Abejide Predicts
Leke Joseph Abejide, a prominent member of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has predicted a landslide victory for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.
In an exclusive interview with Seun, a correspondent for Channels Television later shared on TikTok Abejide boldly stated that Tinubu would win “at least 32 out of 36 states” in the upcoming polls.
When pressed on which states Tinubu might not secure, Abejide mentioned Anambra and Abia but added that the president could even exceed his projection.
The discussion also touched on speculations that former President Goodluck Jonathan might return to contest in 2027, alongside other opposition figures such as Peter Obi. Abejide dismissed these prospects, insisting that Tinubu’s political dominance would remain unshaken.
“Asiwaju will win 32 states,” Abejide declared confidently.
The remarks have since sparked widespread reactions online, with supporters and critics flooding the comment sections of the viral post. While some applauded Abejide’s confidence in Tinubu’s leadership, others accused him of being unrealistic and out of touch with the current economic and social realities in Nigeria.
Some commenters argued that public dissatisfaction over fuel prices, the naira’s depreciation, and rising food costs could undermine Tinubu’s popularity ahead of the 2027 elections.
Others claimed that the ruling party’s reliance on state governors and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) might play a bigger role than genuine voter support.
The viral exchange has reignited conversations about Nigeria’s electoral process, voter sentiment, and the political strategies likely to shape the 2027 general elections.
