Tinubu’s Govt May Face International Action — Ex-U.S. Mayor Issues Strong Warning

Former U.S. Mayor, Mike Arnold, has sparked controversy online after issuing a stern warning to President Bola Tinubu’s administration, claiming that international intervention may soon be required to address Nigeria’s worsening security and religious crisis.

Arnold, who shared his thoughts via his verified X (formerly Twitter) account, @MikeArnoldTruth, accused the Nigerian government of being complicit in ongoing attacks against Christians, alleging that authorities have failed to take decisive action.

“The Nigerian government isn’t just failing to stop terrorism — it’s built to accommodate it,” Arnold wrote.

He went on to describe the country’s political elite as “protectors of extremists,” accusing them of prioritizing political alliances over human lives.

“Where the world sees terrorists, Nigeria’s leaders see coalition partners and voting blocs,” he stated, criticizing what he called a “system that rewards silence and indifference.”

Arnold further warned that true peace in Nigeria cannot be achieved until the government dismantles the structures that allow extremist ideologies to thrive.

“Until we dismantle the belief that some lives are disposable, the blood will not stop,” he wrote.
