Trick Daddy Sparks Outrage After Calling Women Over 35 “Damaged Goods”
American rapper Trick Daddy has drawn widespread backlash following controversial remarks made during a recent appearance on the popular Drink Champs podcast, where he claimed he is not attracted to women over the age of 35.
His comments have since triggered heated discussions across social media platforms.
Speaking candidly during the podcast, Trick Daddy labelled women in that age group as “damaged goods,” criticizing them for what he perceives as being too emotional and having unrealistic expectations in relationships.
“Their standards are too high. They are too emotional. You all are damaged goods from past relationships,” he stated, stirring disbelief among listeners and fans.
The rapper’s comments were met with immediate online condemnation, with critics accusing him of perpetuating harmful stereotypes and exhibiting misogynistic attitudes toward older women.
One social media user, Bennerman, clapped back, saying,
“If he considers women who are 35 and older as ‘damaged goods,’ imagine what those women consider him.”
Another user, Jendayi, questioned whether the footage was even real, writing,
“The pot calling the kettle black! This has to be AI — ain’t no way he really said that. Audacious at best.”
A third commenter, Mari Matez, didn’t hold back:
“He’s got the nerve when he looks half dead.”
Despite the backlash, Trick Daddy has not issued a statement or apology regarding the remarks, further fueling the controversy.
Critics argue that his comments reflect deeper issues within celebrity culture, where older women are often unfairly scrutinized while male celebrities face little judgment about age.
This incident reignites the conversation around ageism, gender bias, and respect for women in the entertainment industry especially when voiced by public figures with influence.
