Two Delta LG Chairmen Endorse Tinubu, Oborevwori for 2027 Re-election

The Chairmen of Isoko North and Isoko South Local Government Areas in Delta State, Godwin Ogorugba and Warri Ovuoke, have called for a stronger and more united All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Isoko region.

Their call came during a meeting with party executives from the Local Governments and Wards in Isoko North and South, held at the Isoko North LGA Secretariat in Ozoro, Delta State.

At the meeting, a unanimous vote of confidence was passed in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, and the two local government chairmen.

A motion backing the re-election of President Tinubu and Governor Oborevwori in the 2027 general elections was moved by Ede Hyacinth, APC Delta South Senatorial Youth Leader, and seconded by Mr. David Onorioma. The motion received full support from all attendees.

Addressing the gathering, Ogorugba, Chairman of Isoko North, emphasized that with the APC in control at the federal, state, and local levels, it was imperative for party leaders, officials, and members to unite in strengthening the party and promoting the incumbent administration. He stressed the need for party unity and commitment, particularly as preparations for the 2027 elections begin.

Ogorugba also congratulated APC officials on the recent extension of their tenures by the National Executive Committee, noting that leadership is determined by divine will.

Echoing these sentiments, Ovuoke, Chairman of Isoko South, reiterated the call for unity and active engagement within the party structure to ensure a solid foundation for future electoral success.
