Ugezu Ugezu Slams Reno Omokri Over Attacks on Peter Obi, Warns of Consequences
Nigerian filmmaker and outspoken commentator, Ugezu J. Ugezu, has openly criticized former presidential aide Reno Omokri over his persistent online campaign against Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
In a strongly worded Instagram post, Ugezu condemned Omokri’s actions, describing them as “the riskiest assignment ever undertaken by a mortal in Nigeria’s shady political terrain.”
He accused Omokri of deliberately trying to undermine Obi’s public image and predicted that the former aide would face severe consequences as a result.
According to Ugezu, Reno’s relentless efforts to discredit the former Anambra State governor would eventually lead to what he called “self-induced ruin,” adding that “the universe itself is against him.”
He warned that those who remain silent in the face of known truth are not exempt from accountability and urged Nigerians to speak out rather than remain complicit.
The filmmaker’s remarks come as Reno Omokri continues his controversial criticism of Peter Obi across social media platforms, vowing to resist his political ambition.
Ugezu’s comments have sparked fresh debate online, with many Nigerians weighing in on the ethical boundaries of political commentary and the consequences of media manipulation.
