“Umuobom Village, Agbogugu, Hails APC for Appointing Dr. Nwafor into Enugu Leadership”
The leadership of Umuobom Development Forum (UDF), Agbogugu, in Awgu Local Government Area of Enugu State, has extolled the National Leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the appointment of one of their sons, Dr. Chiedozie Nwafor, as a member of the Enugu State Caretaker Committee of the party.
The community made this known on Wednesday when they paid a courtesy visit to the state leadership of the party at GRA, Enugu.
Addressing the press, the leader of the delegation, Chief Tony Nnaemeka, said the community is happy to have one of its own appointed as a member of the state leadership of the party.
He stated that Dr. Nwafor has long been one of the brightest minds from the community and also distinguished himself as a former councillor of their ward.
He noted that the appointment is well deserved because Dr. Nwafor will lead effectively in every assignment given to him. His idea of political pluralism in Agbogugu has transformed its political atmosphere, and they are convinced he will take APC in Enugu State to the next level.
“Dr. Chiedozie Nwafor’s appointment did not come as a surprise to us,” Chief Nnaemeka said. “He has consistently shown leadership, humility, and commitment to community development. His influence cuts across political divides, and we are confident that he will use this new position to further promote peace, inclusiveness, and the growth of the All Progressives Congress in Enugu State.”
Chief Nnaemeka also commended the state leadership of Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah for his outstanding performance and for reintegrating the state into national politics, while also praising the state caretaker leadership of the APC, led by Dr. Ben Nwoye, for its doggedness and commitment to peace and progress.
He, however, prayed for God’s continuous blessings upon their son, President Ahmed Bola Tinubu, Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, the National Leadership of APC, and its members, adding that their support will always show.
Receiving the guests, the state caretaker committee chairman of the party, Dr. Ben Nwoye, who was represented by a member of the committee, Dr. Oby Ajih, commended UDF for their practical show of love and solidarity to their own. She stated that Dr. Nwafor has always been a wonderful soul and possesses progressive traits that are rare among young people of this generation, adding that the UDF is the first to show such love to one of their own since the appointments.
“We appreciate this warm show of support from Umuobom Development Forum. Their visit reinforces community values and strengthens our resolve to serve with integrity. Dr. Nwafor is a young person that depicts constant dedication, competence, and humility.
“This is the first time that a community is coming to show support to their own since we emerged, and it is something that is commendable. Umuobom has a rare gem in Dr. Nwafor, and his leadership prowess always distinguishes him from other young persons because he is different. On behalf of the state leadership of APC, we welcome and appreciate this gesture and support.”
