VeryDarkMan Accuses Nigerian Police of Plotting Jail Term and Spreading Allegations of Affairs With Female Officers.
Controversial Nigerian activist and social media commentator VeryDarkMan (VDM) has taken to social media to accuse top-ranking members of the Nigerian Police Force of orchestrating a campaign to imprison him and destroy his reputation.
In a video shared on his timeline, VDM alleged that there is an active plot to sentence him to seven years in prison on charges of impersonation.
He claims that some high-profile officers are leveraging legal mechanisms and spreading damaging rumours about his personal life in an attempt to silence him.
VDM further revealed that new allegations have emerged, accusing him of having sexual relations with at least six prominent female officers, and allegedly carrying out these acts within their offices. He labelled the rumours as a desperate attempt to ruin his image and discredit his activism.
“Some top police officers want to jail me using this court case. They are also spreading stories that I sleep with influential women in the Nigerian police. But na God dey give me wings, no be toto,” he stated.
The outspoken influencer is currently facing legal action for allegedly impersonating a police officer an act many critics argue violates Nigerian law. However, supporters have also defended him, citing double standards in how authorities treat public figures and content creators.
@exigency_global_trading_ltd: “This is a clear case of impersonation. You need official permission to wear a police uniform. Know the law.”
@verituseventsx: “So actors now get approval from the IG to wear police uniforms in films? Make it make sense.”
@king_george747: “VDM, abeg avoid police and army wahala. Stop wearing uniforms that resemble theirs.”
As the drama unfolds, many await official statements from the Nigerian Police Force regarding the serious allegations and counter-accusations. Meanwhile, VDM insists that he will not be silenced.
