Victoria Kimani Says Kenyan Men Rarely Approach Her, Cites Lack of Confidence
Popular Kenyan singer Victoria Kimani has stirred fresh conversations after revealing that men from her home country rarely approach her romantically, attributing it to a lack of confidence and fear of rejection.
In a recent appearance on The Box Pod, Victoria Kimani opened up about her dating experiences, stating that most of the men who show romantic interest in her while she’s in Kenya are foreigners.
According to the former Chocolate City artiste, Kenyan men either assume she would reject them or simply don’t know how to approach women confidently.
“I don’t get approached in Kenya. Nobody approaches me unless they are not from here,” she said. “It’s like a lack of confidence or they assume I’ll turn them down. They just don’t know how. It’s like they lack game.”
Kimani emphasized that initiating conversations with women doesn’t require much just confidence, good hygiene, and proper communication.
She criticized the approach some men take when starting conversations, saying their delivery often falls short and leads to quick rejection.
Though she has maintained a relatively private love life, Victoria has previously been linked to Nigerian rapper Ice Prince and Tanzanian music star Diamond Platnumz.
Her candid remarks have sparked lively debates on social media, with fans discussing the complexities of modern dating and cultural expectations around confidence and gender dynamics.
