Wabara urges Tinubu to intervene and control Wike before Rivers state faces chaos.

Senator Adolphus Wabara, former Senate President and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the main opposition PDP, has urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to intervene and prevent the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, from causing a political crisis in Rivers State.

Wabara’s statement comes in response to recent actions by pro-Wike lawmakers and a call from the Rivers State chapter of the APC for the impeachment of Governor Siminalayi Fubara.

Wabara expressed concern that any instability in Rivers State, which plays a crucial role in the country’s economy, could have a detrimental impact on Nigeria as a whole.

He implored President Tinubu to urge Wike to allow his successor to fulfill his duties without interference and to prioritize peace.
